  • Janna helped me “detach” from the unwanted and unnecessary items and offered suggestions on those items that I wanted to keep.  It was liberating tossing items or giving them away. At that time, we took the jars that I kept and put my cooking and baking items in them and labeled them.  She showed me the value of lazy susans, tiered shelf organizers and baskets in the cabinets and pantry. I used to keep all my cooking supplies in the pantry.  They are now conveniently in front of my meal prep area.  My dishes are now conveniently located by my dishwasher, etc.   With her help and great suggestions, I feel more empowered in my kitchen and as a matter of fact, my whole house.   • I really enjoyed working with Janna on both projects as she had a very calming effect on me.  She is very easy to be around and is a "gentle soul" so I never felt embarrassed or judged by the condition of my two projects.  She is a very organized person. We would break the sessions out into "bite size pieces" so that the task was doable and would not go on for hours at any given time. She is good about staying on task and then scheduling for the next organization session.  I always looked forward to working with her again at the next session knowing that I would feel more and more organized and loving the finished project.   • Early in our journey I was going through some of my father's things since he had passed and Janna lets me tell the story behind different items and I look at her and she is crying. She is not there to clean your house. She wants to help you process stuff in your house and the feelings that go along with them. That's when I knew Janna was the right person for me to help me on my journey. Janna is very flexible. There would be times when I really needed help getting my Christmas decorations out of the attic, so that's what we did. She would leave me an assignment to finish before our next session. As momentum started picking up, her sessions were increased to two times per week at my request. This really helped us get through my basement. Janna is not judgmental. She has seen it all. She can handle it. She reminds you that your house did not get this way in one day and it will not be fixed in one day. Our journey took a couple of years. Granted there was a pandemic and extended houseguests that sometimes slowed us down.

  • Before officially starting our work together, we’ll have a one-hour conversation in your home about your goals and how I can best support you. It’s helpful to have a general idea of the areas you'd like to focus on before we start, but don’t worry — I will help you prioritize and keep everything manageable. 

  • I don’t only help with hoarding, but it is one of my specialties that I feel very passionate about. My priority is to provides compassionate, non-judgmental support for individuals dealing with hoarding in the KC area. Hoarding is a complex, emotional issue, and I will guide you through the decluttering process at your own pace, offering support as needed.

  • Absolutely. I offer both packing and unpacking services for local and long-distance moves. Whether you’re packing up your current home or unpacking in a new one, I will ensure the process is as easy as possible, safely packing items and organizing them in a way that works for your lifestyle.

  • The time required to complete your project depends on the scope of work. During your consultation, I will assess your space and provide an estimated timeline. Larger projects, such as garage clean-outs or hoarding support, most likely require multiple sessions.

  • Yes! I work alongside you during each session to ensure your spaces are organized according to your preferences. Active involvement is key to ensuring everything is done exactly the way you want with maximized results.
